Stunning Fashion and Designer Knitwear

“The Elizabeth,” designed and handknit by Jemma Sykes (Royal College of Art graduate). Designed for Butcher Couture, specializing in eco-couture, 100% organic wool and pink with natural dyes. Later donated to auction at breast cancer fundraising event.

Let's just say there are some pret-ty incredible knit and crochet designers out there.

I tend to only come into contact with patterns and designs that I find in books, on websites, and Ravelry - often practical clothes, toys, accessories, and so on. But there's a whole world of creative knitting out there that isn't in that cluster of resources. I've been having some fun exploring the fiber art designer world and came across some real gems, focusing on the spunky, the unique, and, irresistibly, the glamorous. Even if you're not a knitter but like fashion or vice versa, there are some really amazing pieces at the sites below. Check 'em OUT!

Some great fashion knitwear books are Knit Couture: 20 Hand-Knit Designs from Runway to Reality, Luxe Knits: Couture Designs to Knit & Crochet, Runway Knits: 30 Fashion-Forward Designs, Glam Knits: 25 Designs For Luxe Yarns, and Boutique Knits.

  1. I really feel evaluating black and white digital cameras with it's motion picture comparable is much like looking at apples with oranges. They simply usually are not the same in feel and look. I talked about this in depth partly 1 on this sequence. click over here now When speaking to professional photographer Hellen Van Meene she describe movie as getting "miracle". Now I'm uncertain just what the techical expression for secret is but creatively I realize exactly what Hellen implies.
