As a Christmas gift, I created these ornaments for my aunt in memory of three of her horses who have passed over the years. (please excuse the hideously scraggly mini tree)
They are knit flat in one piece and then sewn together. The detailing (manes, tails, eyes, and face markings) are embroidered with embroidery thread and yarn.
These are inspired by Irina Ferrer (ElvesWorld)'s Little gray donkey pattern, which is available on Ravelry and Etsy.
